Jeff Vacanti

Jeff Vacanti is an Animation Director and Lead Animator at Apple, currently working in character animation, rigging, and tool development within the Vision Products Group. With 25 years of experience in the field, Jeff's career has encompassed roles in feature films, animated shorts, and commercial projects, including notable positions at Industrial Light & Magic, where they contributed as a Senior Animator and Lead Animator. Early in their career, Jeff developed skills in cartoon-style character animation at various studios, eventually serving as CG Animation Supervisor at Wild Brain Animation. Jeff has also presented at significant industry conferences, highlighting expertise in animation tool development and training. They are pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Computer Animation from the Academy of Art University while having earned a cum laude Bachelor of Fine Arts from Harvard University.
