Jeffrey P. Bigham

Jeffrey P. Bigham is currently the Director of Human-Centered Machine Intelligence and Responsible AI at Apple, where they lead an innovative research group focused on the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction, Machine Learning, and Responsible AI. They hold a position as an Associate Professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Human-Computer Interaction Institute and Language Technologies Institute, contributing to the academic community since 2013. Previously, Bigham has held roles such as Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester and Research Assistant at the University of Washington, with a diverse background including internships at IBM and Microsoft.
