Jerry Cheng

Jerry Cheng is a seasoned SoC Physical Design Manager with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. They began their career as a Hardware Engineer at Cooper Industries Ltd. in 2009 and later worked as a CAD Engineer at USC Student Affairs from 2010 to 2012. They contributed to formal verification at Altera in 2011 before joining Apple, where they advanced from SoC Physical Design Engineer to SoC Physical Design Manager between 2012 and 2018. Jerry holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Mixed Signal/RF from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Microelectronics from Fudan University.
