Jian Jin is a Machine Learning Engineer at Apple since December 2025, specializing in on-device search. Prior to this role, Jian worked as a Software Engineer at Google from March 2017 to November 2025, contributing to natural language search systems, text-to-SQL, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), large language model (LLM) applications, text embedding, micro-services, and scalable backend systems. Jian also focused on Android System Intelligence, particularly within on-device search and ranking systems.
