Jiangkun Liu

Jiangkun (Jack) Liu is a seasoned professional in the field of computer vision and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Apple since October 2020. Prior to this role, Jiangkun held positions as a Machine Learning Engineer at Apple and as an Imaging Scientist at Koning Corporation. Jiangkun began academic pursuits with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Tsinghua University, followed by both a Master's and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Rochester. Key areas of expertise include multimodal LLMs, open-vocabulary object detection, segmentation, and leading the development of state-of-the-art technologies and innovative solutions in the computer vision domain.
