Jingwei Xu

Jingwei Xu is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in design verification. At Apple, from July 2016 to September 2022, Jingwei served as a Staff Design Verification Engineer, focusing on identifying and rectifying gaps in design verification flows, and previously held roles as a Senior Design Verification Engineer and Design Verification Engineer, where contributions included the development of UVM-based test benches for memory coherency and implementation of UVM-based checkers for RTL functionality. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant position at Texas A&M University, an internship in hardware design at Samsung Electronics America, and a software engineering internship at IBM. Jingwei holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
