John Cagle

John Cagle, PhD, is a Senior Scientist/Engineer at Apple who drives applied research to guide design architecture. They hold a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Denver. With over 10 years of experience in research and development, including roles such as Senior Research Fellow and Lab Manager at the University of Washington, John managed interdisciplinary teams focused on prosthetic technology development. They also served as the Senior Manager of Advanced Concepts at VICIS, Inc., where they led projects aimed at improving head-health outcomes in impact protective equipment.
