John Ren is currently a Display Power Architect at Apple, a position held since 2014. Prior to Apple, John was a Senior Manager at Marvell Semiconductor from 2007 to 2014, focusing on high-performance CMOS DC-DC converter design, and also worked as a Senior Design Engineer at Analog Devices from 1996 to 2002. John began their career as a Design Engineer at Micro Linear from 1993 to 1996 and served as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Maxim Integrated from 2002 to 2007. In addition to professional achievements, John is pursuing a PhD in Physics at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Science, and holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Peking University.
