Jon Gavin

Jon Gavin has extensive experience in the telecommunications and semiconductor industries, holding key positions in system validation and RF engineering. From August 2008 to February 2009, Jon served as a System Validation Manager at ST-NXP Wireless, focusing on validating Wireless USB and UWB Physical Layer IP in SoCs. Since March 2009, Jon has been a Sr RF Systems Test Engineer at Apple. Previously, Jon held various roles at Philips, including RF Team Leader and Development Engineer, contributing to the design and verification of RF systems and data modules. Additionally, Jon worked as a Senior Electronic Designer at Philips Telecom PMR, overseeing 2-way radio handset design and compliance. Jon's career began with a BEng(Hons) in Communications from the University of Bradford and has included notable positions in validation management and RF system design across multiple companies.
