Jonathan Tong

Jonathan Tong is a CPU Microarchitect at Apple, where they contribute to the design of advanced processors. Previously, they worked as a CPU Microarchitect at Intel Corporation, focusing on various CPU designs, including the Silvermont Atom core and Intel Quark CPUs. Their experience includes significant roles in CPU design at companies like Motorola and Conformative Systems, where they developed key components for PowerPC processors and a RISC processor for XSLT acceleration. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and Carnegie Mellon University, respectively.
