Katherine Woo is a materials scientist with extensive experience in materials and coatings development, as well as failure analysis. They previously worked as a System Engineer at Applied Materials from 2019 to 2024, where they managed R&D projects and collaborated globally on advanced coatings. Currently, Katherine serves as an Engineering Program Manager at Apple. They have also held positions at Iowa State University and San Jose State University, where they conducted research in inorganic chemistry and mentored undergraduate students. Katherine holds a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry.
