Kyel Ok

Kyel Ok is a computer vision and machine learning engineer/researcher with over 10 publications focused on vision-based estimation, visual SLAM, and deep learning. They earned a PhD in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and currently work as a Senior Computer Vision Machine Learning Engineer at Apple, developing algorithms for the Apple Vision Pro. Kyel has previously held positions as a co-founder at a stealth startup, a graduate research assistant at both MIT and Georgia Institute of Technology, and has interned in various roles at Epson Canada, the Waterloo Autonomous Vehicles Lab, and POSTECH Robotics Laboratory.
