Laura Carns

Laura Carns is an accomplished Principal Engineer at Apple, with a career spanning over two decades in the technology sector. Since March 2014, Laura has held various engineering roles at Apple, including Senior Staff ASIC Design Engineer and Staff ASIC Design Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Principal Engineer at Cavium Inc., where expertise was applied in RTL and architecture design for the Octeon and NITROX product families. Previously, Laura worked at NVIDIA as a Senior Hardware Architect, focusing on the Tegra Memory Controller and Arbitration. Early in the career at PMC-Sierra (now Microsemi), Laura contributed as a Product Design Engineer specializing in DDR Memory Controller Verification and Digital Logic Design. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
