Laura DeForest

Laura DeForest is currently the Director of Mac Product Design at Apple, where they are responsible for the mechanical design of Mac desktops. They previously held various roles at Apple, including Product Design Engineer, Manager, and Senior Manager in the same department. Earlier in their career, Laura worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Lockheed Martin and a Mechanical Design Engineer at Pratt & Whitney, and they began their professional journey as an English teacher at a Budapest high school. Laura earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
