Leah Findlater

Leah Findlater is an experienced academic and industry professional, currently serving as the AI and Accessibility Research Lead at Apple since 2021. Prior to this role, Leah has held various academic positions at the University of Washington, progressing from Research Associate to Assistant Professor and then to Associate Professor from 2009 to the present. Leah also contributed as an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland from 2012 to 2017. Educationally, Leah holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Regina, as well as both MSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia.
