Leroy Mikell

Leroy Mikell is a dedicated Program Manager and educator at Uncommon Schools, where they have been working since 2019. They also serve as a High School Spanish Teacher and previously taught 7th Grade Science at Excellence Boys Charter School. Leroy has a strong background in photography, having owned Meant II Shine Photography INC. since 2007, where they produce video content and manage client relationships. Their academic credentials include a Master of Science in Photography from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Additionally, Leroy's experience encompasses four years as a broadcast journalist in the Army, highlighting their commitment to teaching and presenting information effectively.
