Lifan Yan is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in process engineering and display quality engineering. Currently employed as a Display Quality Engineer at Apple since March 2024, Lifan previously held the position of Senior Process Engineer at Lam Research from May 2021 to March 2024, where responsibilities included designing process recipes, innovating etch chemistry, and qualifying production features. Prior experience includes serving as a Process Engineer at Applied Materials, conducting feasibility tests and securing three US patents, and working as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where Lifan identified process challenges and contributed to multiple research projects resulting in numerous co-authored publications.
