Lin Geng

Lin Geng is a Manufacturing Design Engineer at Apple, specializing in process development for iPad enclosures and metal parts. They have expertise in machining, robotics, high-gloss surface finish, and special equipment development, managing projects from New Product Introduction to ramp-up. Previously, Lin worked as a Scientist at the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology, focusing on 5-axis machining technologies, and as a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, where they developed a mission planning system for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Lin earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a B.Eng. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
