Liu Liu

Liu Liu possesses extensive experience in machine learning and computer vision, having held senior engineering roles at Apple and Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. Notably, Liu served as a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer at Apple from April 2019 to March 2022 and at Samsung from March 2018 to March 2019. Prior experience includes graduate research at the University of Tennessee, where Liu focused on object detection, large-scale image classification, and data analytics in smart grid environments. Contributions as an ADAS Team Leader involved software development for automotive vision systems and implementing lane detection algorithms. Liu's internship experiences at the Toyota InfoTechnology Center and Oak Ridge National Laboratory provided further expertise in deep reinforcement learning, text classification, and semi-supervised text mining. Liu holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
