Lydia Ortiz

Lydia Ortiz is a Senior Art Director, Designer, and Illustrator with over 12 years of experience in the creative industry, currently serving as the Lead Designer and Art Director at Chronicle Books. They have previously run their own creative practice, providing award-winning editorial illustration and design work for notable clients such as The New York Times, MTV, and Adobe. Lydia has also held various roles, including Art Director at Chronicle Books, where they managed numerous book projects, established a Design Mentorship Program, and collaborated closely with artists and editors. They hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the California College of the Arts.
