Marcela Heckman

Marcela Heckman is an Engineering Project Manager at Apple, where they build iOS and Web applications at scale. Previously, they held the position of Project Department Manager at Youth With A Mission, coordinating numerous events and managing logistics from inception to completion. Marcela also served as a Project Coordinator at Youth With A Mission Brazil, where they developed project proposals and engaged diverse teams of volunteers. They have experience as a Software Developer at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, and are currently pursuing a certificate in Applied Data Science from MIT Professional Education while managing the development of a seating chart for the Law School. Marcela holds degrees in Mathematics and English from Butte College and in Nursing from Cefet/RJ.
