Mark Arbore

Mark Arbore is a distinguished engineer and sensor architect at Apple, holding responsibilities for sensor technology development and supporting hardware engineering since February 2013. Previously, Mark served as Senior Manager of Optical Engineering and Solid-State Device Development at Apple, where oversight of optical system architecture was essential for sensor projects. Mark founded and led Peppertree Engineering, Inc. from June 2008 to February 2013, specializing in optical systems and providing independent engineering services. Prior experience includes directing optical engineering at Collinear Corporation from March 2005 to June 2008 and managing laser systems at Lightwave Electronics Corporation from March 1998 to February 2005. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a B.A. in Physics from Rice University.
