Mark Lam has an extensive background in software engineering, having held various positions at notable companies. They worked as a Firmware Engineer at IGT from 1993 to 2000, and then transitioned to a Senior Staff Engineer role at Sun Microsystems from 2000 to 2008. Following this, Mark served as a Principal Engineer at Palm Inc. and Hewlett-Packard between 2008 and 2011. They later took on the role of Senior Software Engineer at Roku, Inc. in 2011 and recently became a WebKit Engineer at Apple in 2025.
