Mark Lee is a Research Engineer at Apple, beginning in January 2021, and serving as the first member of the Foundation Models team under Ruoming Pang. Mark has led the development of AXLearn. Prior to joining Apple, Mark worked as a Software Engineer at Uber Advanced Technologies Group from September 2019 to January 2021, focusing on machine learning platforms, simulation, and perception. Additionally, Mark was a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science for the Practical Data Science course in early 2018. Mark holds an education from Carnegie Mellon University.
