Masa S.

Masa S. is an experienced software engineer with a diverse background in engineering and development. Starting as a UNIX System Engineer at Internet Initiative Japan from April 1998 to June 2005, Masa maintained application servers and network equipment, then advanced to senior engineering roles, including at Six Apart Japan, where blogging services such as TypePad were enhanced. At Six Apart from January 2007 to November 2010, Masa designed and implemented migration systems for TypePad user data while also collaborating with various teams at Heavy Bits, Inc. to develop a mobile-first version of the Snapguide website from January 2013 to April 2015. Currently, Masa serves as a CDN DevOps Software Engineer at Apple, continuing a trajectory of impactful software engineering across multiple companies. Education includes a BA and MA in Civil Engineering from Hokkaido University.
