Matt Rogers

Matt Rogers is the Director of the Glass, Ceramics, and Coatings Team at Apple, where they focus on new product development and customer interaction. They previously served as a Manager of Product Design Materials/Coatings at Apple and held various roles at Applied Materials, including Senior Engineer for Gate Stack and Oxidation processes. Matt completed a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, where they researched subjects like hydrogen storage and laser-material interactions. Their early research experience also includes positions at UC Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, focusing on crystallization and thin film deposition techniques.
