Matthew H.

Matthew H. has a diverse background in engineering and manufacturing, with experience spanning various roles in prestigious organizations. At Chief Hurao Academy, Matthew served as an intern at Guam's first Chamorro language immersion school. As a Prototyping Engineer at Meta from July 2019 to November 2022, Matthew designed and built electromechanical assemblies for data center cooling technologies and led a team to produce plastic injection molded prototypes. Previous roles include internships at IDEO.org and SunWork Renewable Energy Projects, as well as contracting positions at XStream Trucking and TechShop, where Matthew instructed on manual machine shop equipment. Currently, Matthew holds the position of Precision Optics Manufacturing Engineer at Apple, demonstrating a strong foundation in mechanical engineering with a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and a certificate in CNC Machining from De Anza College.
