Matthew Hall

Matthew Hall is a Senior Information Security Engineer at Apple, where they currently support multi-year development projects through security architecture reviews, offensive security testing, and collaboration across various teams. With extensive experience in penetration testing, Red Team engagements, and cyber consultancy since the early 2000s, Matthew has led teams in the network security sector and has focused on enhancing organizations' cybersecurity incident response capabilities. Previously, they held positions as Team Leader at Sec-1 Ltd and Claranet, and as an Information Security Consultant at ECSC Ltd, serving clients across public and private sectors in the UK. Matthew co-founded the Leeds DEFCON Group and is an active speaker and panellist in the cybersecurity community.
