Mel Ni

Mel Ni is an experienced engineering professional specializing in communication systems and satellite technology. Beginning a career as a Controls Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company from 2001 to 2013, significant contributions included work on a distributed-aperture imaging telescope testbed. After a brief tenure at Google as a Controls Engineer, Mel Ni served as Director of Satellite Payload at OneWeb, Ltd from 2014 to 2020, overseeing satellite communication payload development and leading a successful payload test campaign. Currently, Mel Ni is a Modeling and Simulation Engineer at Apple since April 2021, following a position at Amazon as a Communication Systems Engineer from June 2020 to April 2021. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and an Engineer's degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
