Melissa Gioe

Melissa Gioe is currently a Software Engineering Director at Apple Inc., where they lead a team focused on user education for all Apple products. Previously, they held various roles, including Technical Writer and Senior Instructional Designer at Apple, where they developed user education content and authored high-profile publications. Earlier in their career, Melissa worked as a User Experience Designer and Developer at Rilo, and served in multiple capacities at Stanford Residential Computing. They earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Symbolic Systems with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction Design from Stanford University and completed an advanced course in iOS programming at Big Nerd Ranch.
