Michael Erickson

Michael Erickson is an accomplished battery materials scientist with extensive experience in lithium-ion battery development and characterization. Notable positions include serving as a scientist at EaglePicher Medical Power, where Michael managed lithium-ion and lithium-carbon fluorine projects, maintained battery testing facilities, and provided customer support, among other responsibilities. Michael also held roles at Mobius Power, A123 Systems, and Leyden Energy, focusing on high-temperature performance and surface modification of battery materials. As a Battery Materials Scientist at Apple since 2015, Michael continues to contribute to advanced battery technology. Michael's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma and a BS in Chemistry from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
