Michael Lin

Michael Lin is a seasoned Mechanical Product Quality Manager with extensive experience at Apple since July 2007, focusing on various product lines including iPhone and TDG products. Currently, as a Mechanical Product Quality Manager, Michael leads initiatives to build a FATP site tailored for new Apple product lines, managing over 200 parts and four FATP lines while enhancing smart factory integration through innovative tooling solutions. Previous roles at Apple include serving as a Supplier Quality Engineer and Metrologist, where responsibilities encompassed quality leadership for iconic iPhone models, authoring significant quality plans, and implementing automated quality systems. Prior to Apple, Michael held senior mechanical engineering positions at Motorola, where design and testing of mobile devices were pivotal. Michael possesses a B.S. and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
