Michael Wyatt

Michael Wyatt is a Senior Software Engineer at Apple, where they lead infrastructure engineering initiatives for critical services like AIML, Maps, and Siri, handling over a billion requests daily. With more than 20 years of experience, Michael has overseen significant migrations from monolithic systems to containerized platforms, establishing Go as the primary infrastructure language within their organization. Prior to Apple, they held roles at Google Fiber, where they managed software development and optimized customer support systems, and served as a military police officer in the United States Marine Corps. Michael holds a BS in Information Technology from Eastern Michigan University and has taught computer systems security and Unix at Washtenaw Community College. Passionate about cloud-native transformations, Michael mentors engineers and actively shares knowledge in the tech community.
