Michele Bavaro is an accomplished engineering professional with a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Università di Pisa. They began their career as a Computer Science Engineer at Isac S.r.L in 2004 and subsequently held various engineering roles, including Senior Navigation Engineer at Nottingham Scientific Ltd. and Principal Location Engineer at Swift Navigation. Currently, they serve as an Engineering Manager at Apple, where their team focuses on Bluetooth proximity use-cases across numerous products. Michele has also contributed to projects as a Consultant at One Talent GNSS and as a Scientific/Technical Support Officer for the European Commission, Joint Research Centre.
