Miguel Salas

Miguel Salas is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in design automation and VLSI design. Miguel began as a Design Automation Intern at Intel, focusing on power-gating techniques for Itanium platforms. Following this role, Miguel served as a Senior VLSI Designer at Intel Corporation, where responsibilities included guiding several designs from RTL to GDS and establishing methodologies for Atom-based SoCs. Afterward, Miguel worked as a Senior Staff Application Consultant at Synopsys, supporting advanced node technologies. Currently, Miguel is a Design Engineer at Apple, contributing to the physical design of next-generation products. Miguel holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Cornell University and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Colorado State University, achieving outstanding academic performance in both programs.
