Molly Thompson

Molly Thompson is the Head of Documentaries and Non-Fiction at Apple TV+, a role they have held since April 2019, shortly before the service’s launch. Thompson oversees a wide array of projects, including multi-part documentaries, non-fiction series, and original podcasts, contributing to award-winning productions such as “Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry” and “The Line.” Prior to joining Apple, they founded and led A&E IndieFilms, achieving significant recognition with four Academy Award nominations for various documentaries. Thompson is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Rutgers University.
