Na Wang

Na Wang, Ph.D., has a robust background in reliability testing and materials engineering, with significant tenure as a Module Reliability Engineer at Apple since August 2019. Prior experience includes a role as a Technologist at Western Digital from May 2013 to August 2019, where Na Wang led reliability tests for innovative magnetic recording technologies. An academic foundation is established with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Materials Engineering, both from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by earlier education at Tsinghua University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Noteworthy research includes the study of ultra-thin diamond-like carbon films and their tribological performance. Na Wang also served as a summer intern at HGST, where environmental reliability tests were performed on media carbon overcoats.
