Nathan Stebor

Systems Architect

Nathan Stebor is a research scientist and systems architect with a PhD in physics and a diverse background in sensor design and system architecture for imaging applications. Previously, they were a senior member of the Polarbear science collaboration at UC San Diego, contributing to advanced experiments in cosmic microwave background radiation. At Intel, Nathan developed camera systems for VR and volumetric video, while their recent role at nLIGHT involved optics design and sensor characterization for 3D cameras. Currently, Nathan serves as a Systems Architect at Apple and is pursuing degrees in Physics and Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Portland State University, respectively.
