Ole Obermann

Ole Obermann is an accomplished music industry executive currently serving as the Global Head of Music at Apple since April 2025. Prior to this role, Ole worked at ByteDance as the Global Head of Music Business Development and IP Rights from October 2019 to April 2025. Ole's extensive experience includes a tenure at Warner Music Group as Chief Digital Officer and Executive Vice President of Strategy & Business Development, where responsibilities included overseeing the global business development strategy. Ole held various positions at Sony Music Entertainment, including Executive Vice President for Digital Partner Development & Sales and Senior Vice President for International Digital Business Development. Additional experience encompasses roles at Sony BMG Music Entertainment, Liquid Digital Media, Walmart.com, McKinsey and Company, and Bertelsmann/RCA Records. Ole holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.A. in International Relations from Colgate University, with further education at The University of Freiburg.
