Omer Korech

Omer Korech is a Senior Physicist at Apple, specializing in optics with a focus on optical design and engineering. Previously, Omer served as a Lead System Engineer at Carl Zeiss SMS GmbH, where they conducted optical and thermal modeling and taught an Electro-Optics course. Omer's experience includes roles at Intel Corporation, Ormat, and PhoneOptika, among others, and they have contributed to various fields including solar energy, image processing, and machine learning. They earned a Ph.D. in Non Linear Optics from the Weizmann Institute of Science and hold an M.Sc. in Photovoltaics from Ben Gurion University.
