Omid Davtalab

Omid Davtalab is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience at Apple since March 2020 and prior tenure at Contour Crafting Corporation from May 2017 to March 2020, where significant contributions included developing a Deep Learning CNN model and anomaly detection algorithms. Academic accomplishments include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, where involvement as a Graduate Research Assistant focused on enhancing the capabilities of the Apache Sparkler intelligent web crawler in collaboration with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Additionally, Omid served multiple roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant across various subjects, including Artificial Intelligence, Database Systems, Machine Learning, and Calculus, demonstrating a strong foundation in both applied and theoretical aspects of computer science and machine learning.
