Oren Rippel

Oren Rippel is a machine learning and video expert currently working at Apple as a Principal ML Research Engineer/Manager. Oren previously served as a Co-founder and CTO at WaveOne, Inc., where they led the development of innovative ML-based image and video codecs. Prior to WaveOne, Oren contributed to Facebook's computer vision team as a Machine Learning Student Researcher while completing a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Machine Learning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
