Pankul Dhingra

Pankul Dhingra is a Display EE Architect at Apple with a robust academic and research background in electrical engineering and materials science. Currently, as a PhD candidate at the Holonyak Laboratory, UIUC, Pankul leads projects focused on developing visible-NIR lasers on low-cost Si substrates, drawing from expertise in semiconductor optoelectronics, material growth, and characterization. Pankul has previously contributed to significant research projects at various institutions, including the development of monolithic visible lasers for integrated silicon photonics and the synthesis of lead-free perovskite solar cells. Awarded multiple fellowships and recognition for outstanding research, Pankul is also experienced in collaborative environments, having trained graduate students and delivered presentations at numerous conferences.
