Pascal Pfiffner

Pascal Pfiffner is a physician-scientist focused on health data integration and medical informatics. They have served as a lecturer at Harvard Medical School and have held research positions at Boston Children's Hospital and University Hospital Zürich, where they developed data pipelines and explored clinical trial data quality. As a senior iOS engineer and engineering manager at Apple, Pascal worked on the clinical health applications using FHIR standards. They co-founded MedCalX, a professional medical calculator for iOS, and have contributed to various healthcare technologies throughout their career. Pascal holds an MD and PhD in Immunology from Universität Bern and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Medical Informatics at Harvard Medical School.
