Peter Qin is a polymer scientist currently serving as a Subject Matter Expert in Ink and Coatings at Apple. They earned a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2022, where they focused on innovative polymer formulations for 3D printing applications. Previously, Peter worked as a Manager in Polymer Formulation R&D at 3D Systems and contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Passionate about intertwining science and art, Peter is currently designing a custom IDEX FDM 3D printer and a collection of 3D printed bowed string instruments.
