Prateek Singhal

Prateek Singhal is a seasoned professional in machine learning and artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Apple since January 2025. Prior to this role, Prateek held positions at Amazon from January 2021 to January 2025, including Applied Science Manager for both Gen AI in Amazon Fashion and Alexa AI, focusing on deep learning and AI applications. From January 2016 to January 2021, Prateek was a Senior Manager of Software Development at Magic Leap, specializing in deep learning and applied machine learning. Earlier, Prateek gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology from January 2014 to January 2016, working on Object Based SLAM. A summer internship at Honda Research Institute USA, Inc. in 2015 involved monocular ground plane estimation for satellite image registration. Prateek holds a Master’s degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi.
