Qianlang Chen

Qianlang Chen is a software engineer currently working at Apple since February 2024, focusing on Safari and WebKit developer tools. Chen possesses a strong background in computer science, having earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah with a GPA of 3.90. Previous experience includes a research role at the University of Utah, where Chen contributed to the development of FedRAN, a federated learning system. Chen has also held software engineering internships at Podium, where full-stack engineering was performed, and Meta, where a VR app recommender feature was successfully built for the Oculus app. Additionally, Chen interned at the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in Medicine Lab, optimizing motion-planning systems and developing tools in C++ and Python.
