Ran Yi

Ran Yi is a Sr. Optical Metrology Engineer at Apple, where they focus on advancing optical measurement technologies. Previously, they served as a Lead Engineer in Metrology at Alcon, where they developed new methods for contact lens design and supported product launches through statistical analysis and engineering guidance. Ran has also worked as a Test Engineer at Knowles Corporation, enhancing optical zoom functionality for smartphone cameras, and held various roles in optical research and development, including Senior Optical R&D Engineer at Dimensional Photonics International. They obtained a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Precision Instrument at Tianjin University.
