Ravi Ramaseshan is a Compiler Engineer at Apple, focusing on language feature implementation and LLVM-based tools for the Metal Compiler Team since December 2013. Prior experience includes serving as SDE II on the Phoenix Compiler Team at Microsoft from October 2008 to November 2013, where work involved developing an optimizing compiler for various targets. Ravi has also held roles as a research assistant at North Carolina State University and as a software development engineer intern at Microsoft and Codito Technologies, contributing to projects such as porting the Linux Kernel and GCC for embedded processors. Ravi holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
