Rebeka Watton is a seasoned legal professional specializing in intellectual property and technology, currently serving as Senior Patent Counsel at Apple since February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Intellectual Property & Technology Counsel at Akash Systems from November 2018 to February 2023, and as a Patent Attorney at Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner, P.A. from July 2015 to November 2018. Earlier in the career, Rebeka worked as an Associate at Blakely Sokoloff Taylor & Zafman, focusing on patent drafting, prosecution, claim charting, and infringement analysis for litigation support. Rebeka’s foundational experience includes work as a Patent Intern and Summer Associate, coupled with a strong academic background, holding a Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University, School of Law and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF/Wireless from the University of South Florida.
